Why Mexico and Where?

There are several blogs out about moving to Mexico and whether that is the right move for you. The reasons to move to Mexico vary about as much as the number of people who have moved here.
If you haven’t vacationed in one of the resort towns such as Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan, this would be a great way to get a taste of Mexico. You’ll enjoy the great Mexican food, the friendly locals, understand a little about the driving conditions and using the pesos instead of the dollar.
If you like the activity of a resort town and understand housing will be more expensive, this may be the right move for you.
However, if you desire places close to water without the tourist crowds, there are several good choices throughout Mexico.
A couple places in Baja California Sur which are close to water, have excellent goods and services, yet not all the hustle and bustle of the bigger tourist towns are La Paz and Todos Santos.
In my next blog, I will describe these two towns and why many expats have chosen these two areas.
